In early 2008 one of the most effective traffic generation methods for Internet Marketers is video. Right now, video is hot, hot HOT! In statistics, that's called a "rising trend" and that is the time to jump on a trend ... while it's rising.
And video is most definitely a rising trend.
Why do you think Google spent $1.6 billion to acquire YouTube back in October 2006? It was because the wizards at Google knew just how big an explosion was going to be generated by video in the upcoming years. Their prediction is coming true. YouTube is the 4th most visited website on the Internet right now. That should show you how popular video is becoming.
Almost anyone who wants to promote something can use video to effectively do so. With the advance that have been made in technology in the last 1 - 1 ½ years, it's become even easier than ever to produce a very good looking and sounding video.
Most people probably use a free software application called "Audacity" to record the audio portion of their video and then use another program called Camtasia to assemble the finished product. Both programs have extensive User manuals or if you want to "get on the Fast Track" to creating powerful Sales-Pulling videos, see the link in my sig file (below)
Basically, the process consists of writing a script for your video showing exactly when different screenshots will be visible, depending on the narration. Then you create your different screenshots in Photoshop. Next you find a low-cost royalty-free music clip that suits your fancy as well as going together well with your video. Try reading your script out aloud a couple of times while viewing sample music tracks to see how the music fits the script.
After you have found the music that "fits", you're ready to start building your video in Camtasia. You import the music file first and then add your different screenshots to make a slideshow.
All in all, it's a relative easy process that just looks difficult without the right instructions. You can be producing your own Sales-Pulling videos like a "Pro" in no time at all.
